"Ham and Beams" - A Bourbon and Country Ham Food Pairing Event

Sold out

Hang on SLBS, this event is going to be one of the Best of the Year!  (Keep reading... the details shared below are so worth your time...)

You are invited April, 7th at 7pm for an incredible evening with Jim Beam's eighth-generation distiller, and Little Book blender,  Freddie Noe, celebrated food author and nationally recognized Whiskey Writer, Steve Coomes alongside S. Wallace Edwards III, 4th generation curer and craftsman from Edwards Virginia Smokehouse as we treat you to what promises to be a memorable and certainly one of the most innovative whiskey and food pairings anywhere in the country!

We will be highlighting a dynamic range of flavors throughout Beam's profile and pairing them together with some of the finest cured meats and chocolates available. Throughout the evening we will sample Jim Beam Single Barrel, Old Tub Bottled-in-Bond, Basil Hayden, Knob Creek Rye as well as Booker's, 2019 Country Ham edition.

As we progress with our tasting, these flavorful whiskies will be paired with a unique Surryano Ham, aged 400+ days from Edwards Smokehouse in Williamsburg, Virginia along with a cured Broadbent Ham from Kuttawa , KY. We will then compare and contrast these unique flavors with Edward's old-fashioned hickory smoked sausage made with the same hand crafted, family recipe dating back to the 1930's. We will then finish the evening on a sweet note, rounding out the night with a sorghum covered Carmel from a one of the best chocolatiers in Louisville, KY.

Ok, if you made it this far... you should be convinced that this is one event you do not want to miss. By the way... as a special surprise, we may also be joined by an unnamed guest that evening as well....

Tickets for this event are guaranteed to move quickly; do not delay if you want to join us for what promises to be one of the year's most memorable events.
